Welcome to Trainr. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Trainr mobile application ("Trainr", "the app"). By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Trainr is operated by the developer of Trainr, based in the Netherlands. You can contact us at newtonsykesapi@gmail.com.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Trainr. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
Trainr provides fitness, nutrition, and training information, including AI-generated coaching suggestions, for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have a medical condition or injury. You use the app and follow any guidance at your own risk.
Trainr lets you create and share content, such as workout templates, coaching notes, group names, bios, and photos ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a license to host, display, and distribute it within the app so the app can function.
You are solely responsible for the User Content you create and share, and you agree that it will not violate these Terms or any applicable law.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree NOT to post, share, or transmit content that:
You also agree not to harass, abuse, impersonate, or harm other users.
You can report objectionable content or abusive users from within the app. We review reports and aim to act on them within 24 hours. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice. You may also block other users to stop seeing their content.
With your permission, Trainr reads and writes data through Apple Health (HealthKit). We never use HealthKit data for advertising and never sell it. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
Trainr may offer optional paid features or subscriptions. Any purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account, subject to Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
You may stop using Trainr and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the app.
Trainr is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any results will be achieved from its use.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Trainr will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any injury, loss, or damage related to fitness activities or reliance on app content.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
